I have a wife, Olga. My daughter from my first marriage, also Olga, is a student at the Shevchenko National University studying philology. I have a son from my second marriage,15, a pupil of the 9^th form at a Lyceum. He is fond of music. My parents live in Bila Tserkov. Three years ago they celebrated their golden wedding. My wife is a beautiful and cheerful woman I love so much. She’s always on my side when she thinks me right and never hold her tongue when I am wrong. Olja is the first to listen to my music and to judge it.

Would you like your son to follow you?

He is a pupil at a Lyceum for the time being. My requirements to him are rather high. If he turns out to be somewhat extraordinary, I’ll try my best to help him. My son does have makings but, as I have already said, music demands talent. It’s no use to be an “ordinary” musician.

What would you like to wish your fans and the site visitors?

In hard years we are living now, it is necessary to fight for our Ukrainian songs, as they may be the greatest pleasure in our people’s life. Our severe and even brutal life makes us hard-hearted. We seem losing strength to withstand our troubles as if we are getting used to them. I am certain, it is a song that is able to touch our souls and to raise our spirit making us strong and cheerful.
